Is headache a sign of early pregnancy?

Pregnancy FAQs

Headaches are commonly experienced by many women, and can be caused by multiple factors, so it’s difficult to attribute pregnancy to its cause.  Early symptoms of pregnancy such as back pain, morning sickness or fatigue can all result in headaches, so indirectly headache could be a sign of early pregnancy. However, you should not rely on this as a confirmation of pregnancy – take a home pregnancy test or see your doctor who will be able to accurately confirm your pregnancy via urine or blood test.
